A day at the park.

Yesterday we attended the annual Taekwondo school picnic at Fox Lake Park. What a blast everyone had. We even had a little help from the local fire department. The firemen supplied the water for our "slip and slide"..............pretty cool!

I know it's been a while since my last post. No other excuse except that I have been super busy. I got to take a few pics of my favorite subject today, my daughter. Her school collects pop tops from soda cans and they donate them to the Ronald McDonald house to help sick children and their families. She has been collecting them since the beginning of this school year and with the help of my friend Bill M. she delivered the motherload today. Here are a few pics of her and her school principal.

Back From Vegas

What a great few days in Las Vegas! It was non stop from the minute I landed. The team at PV Powered was awesome to hang out with and photograph. They were having a sales meeting and showing off their solar inverters at the Powergen 2008 show. Here are a few pictures from the event.

Off to Vegas!

I am packing my bags and will be off to Vegas tomorrow morning. I have a corporate event that I am covering. It should be a blast.

The weather ended up cooperating for us today. We got to see an amazing display of fireworks. Here are a few shots of the launch.

Launch today! Maybe...............

Well, one of the perks for living where I do is getting to watch the space shuttle launches. There is a launch scheduled for this afternoon at 245 pm and everything is on track. The bad news is that it looks like bad weather is headed our way and this could post-pone the launch. We'll keep our fingers crossed and hopefully we will get to experience another awesome event.

Black Belt At Last!

The culmination of two years of hard work and training happened last night. I received my black belt in Taekwondo. Thank you to my family, instructors, and friends for your support and help during the last couple years.

My buddy Dwayne received his black belt last night as well.
