Wedding Pictures Even on Vacation....

I just can't help it.  There was a wedding going on at our hotel and I had to snap a few quick shots.  Not a bad place to get married huh??

Back From Mexico

We got back from Mexico on Saturday night and I have spent the last couple days adjusting back to the "real" world.  I keep catching myself starting to say "gracias" and "de nada" and it will probably take a few more days to wean myself of trying to speak spanish.  We had a wonderful trip.  Other than one and a half days of dodging tropical storm Dolly the weather was perfect.  I got to do some diving and the whole family got to do some snorkeling.  We all got great tans and ate too much food.  Kat once again got her hair braided and charmed the heck out of all of the locals.  

One day till Cancun!!!!

I can taste the margaritas and cervezas already!  I just printed my boarding passes and have starting packing the bags.  Today will be spent mostly tying up loose ends before the trip.  I took Pepper to the groomer this morning for his first grooming.  We'll see how it goes.

On the Radio

Last night I had an awesome experience.  I was asked to be a guest on a local radio show called the "Wedding Zone".  It airs every Saturday morning from 930 - 10 AM on WMEL 1300 AM.  It was hosted by David James from the Perfect Wedding Guide and Sandi Kish from Wedding Belles wedding planners.  I was able to talk about Bob Knapik Photographers for about 20 minutes and give listeners are good feel for who I am and what my wedding photography is all about.  The episode is scheduled to air on Saturday July 26th at 930 AM.  I am going to try to get the interview posted on either my blog or website as well.  Please tune in and check it out!

Only 4 more days till Cancun!!!

We leave for Cancun on Saturday and I cannot wait.  Cancun is my favorite place on Earth and we go every year.  It is my little piece of paradise and a place to disappear for a week or so.  I am spending this week tying up all of my loose ends so i can leave the country and not worry about anything back in the States.

New iPhone 3G!!!!

After 3 and a half hours of waiting in line at the AT&T store this morning I got the new must have toy. I was very lucky because i got the very last one at this location. Can't wait to try it out. I am in the process of activating it online right now but the iTunes website is overloaded. I'll let you know once i get settled in with the new gadget. I have been a blackberry guy for many years so this is a big move for me.

The big 4.0.

WOW, 40 years old today.  I can't believe how time flies.  I still feel like I am in my 20's.  I can remember when my mom turned 30 and how that was a very big deal for her.  Times have really changed and I think 40 is the new 30, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.  Milestones like this are great reminders to take a step back and reflect on the previous years.  I can't believe how blessed and lucky I am.  My family and I are healthy, I have the greatest wife and daughter in the world, I have travelled to almost every place that I have ever wanted to (only a couple of places left to check off), and I have found a profession and career that I love.  What more could a guy want?  Nothing major planned for today.  We are heading to Cancun in a couple weeks and we will have the big celebration there.

Website is down........

I tried to have a couple changes made to my website yesterday and for whatever reason it crashed my site.  It is currently down and will hopefully be back up shortly.  I am sorry for any inconvenience this is causing anyone.  Thanks for your patience!  I will let you know when everything is up and running again.

4th of July Weekend Update

What a great holiday weekend we had.  It was fun to get the rig out on the road again.  We found an amazing spot in Palm Beach right on a lake and were able to see 5 different fireworks displays at the same time.  The weather was crazy, every afternoon we had to dodge thunderstorms on the Vespas.  Pepper loved riding in the motorhome and claimed his spot on one of the couches.  The wedding I shot with Abby Liga was amazing.  What a great couple Amy and Peter are and talk about a beautiful setting (Ritz Carlton Palm Beach) to get married!

Getting ready for the 4th!

I am taking the RV down to Palm Beach for the holiday weekend.  It should be a blast.  I am shooting a wedding with Abby Liga on Saturday down there so I decided to make a mini vacation out of it.  It will be Pepper's first time in the rig...i'll let you know how it goes.
